Christians believe the Bible to be God’s very own Word. Unfortunately, many seriously professing Christians are spiritually starving, or spiritually ill, because they haven’t prioritized the seriousness of developing a stronger relationship with God through His inerrant Word (The Bible). Whether we haven’t devoted the time due to our busy worldly schedules or weren’t offered the proper perceived opportunity for quality organized Bible study, it’s our scriptural duty to immerse ourselves in God’s Word.

If our physical diet is not well balanced, our bodies will decline in health. Similarly, if we don’t take in the full value of the spiritual diet offered to us in the Scriptures, we will become spiritually disabled. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for re-proof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” – 2 Timothy 3:16.

This great declaration in the Apostle Paul’s last Epistle (letter) to Timothy, explains and affirms why the Bible alone has been the final authority for the faith and practice of Christianity through the centuries.
